Pyramid Systems is seeking an experienced DevOps/AWS Engineer to take responsibility for creating, building, deploying, orchestrating, and automating deployment packages in AWS cloud-based environment.Responsibilities
Design and automate cloud environments at scale using Infrastructure as Code toolsDesign and develop fully automated software delivery pipelinesEfficiently collaborate within and across agile teams to maximize productivityDevelop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and similarEngage in all agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, demos and retrospectivesEliminate road-blocks and hindrances preventing teams from delivering softwareAssist the team in documenting and leveraging cloud and DevOps best practicesQualifications
3+ years of experience managing cloud or virtualized infrastructureHands-on experience in architecting and operationalizing multi-tier production stacksPassionately practices Infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similarKnowledge and familiarity with Docker and KubernetesFluent in at least one programming language - Ruby, Python, Go and similarStrong system administration experience in Linux and fluent in BashPractices sound security engineering principles and familiar with NIST 800-53 controlsLives and breathes to automate pipelines using AWS DevOps, Jenkins, or similarStrong team player, communicates well, and carries an infectious can-do attitudeEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldWhy Pyramid?
