Responsibilities

Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures. Prepare a clear, accurate preliminary report in both verbal and written format for radiologist and/or other medical providers.Document medical history related to the exam being performed and complete daily computer work.

Maintain credentials and/or licensureParticipate and attend departmental meetingsAdhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Take ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.Communicate and listen effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understand instructions and share knowledge.

Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service".

Qualifications

Job Requirements:Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and ARDMS EligibleARRT, ARDMS or equivalent registered or eligibleFull State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hireMust maintain licensure and national certification/registryBasic Life Saving CertifiedPreferred Job Requirements:Associate's Degree or Bachelor's DegreeOne (1) year experience in the healthcare/hospital environment
