Make an extraordinary impact.Position Overview:The State Dental Director is responsible for local branded dental Quality Assurance for a state and/or region.How you will make an impact:Reviews or provides oversight for dental quality of care grievances and appeals.Reviews or provides oversight as needed for dental chart and facility audits.Monitors member accessibility to care.Chairs or participates in the Dental Quality Improvement Committee for the state.Implements or oversees dental provider corrective actions as needed and provides oversight of the process in addition to conducting plan reviews based on plan contracts.Provides oversight to staff or vendors in achieving compliance of all state and federal regulations pertaining to the delivery of dental services to our members.Minimum Qualifications:Requires a DDS or DMD from an American Dental Association accredited dental school and a minimum of 5 years as a dental insurance director or similar experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Current active unrestricted license to practice dentistry in

Kansas
