Assist in researching and analyzing current trends and recent events involving workplace violence and imminent threatsSupport overall team data collection initiativesWork in a collaborative manner in brainstorming training developmentAssist in managing enterprise-wide online learning through an internal learning management system (LMS)With management oversight, coordinate internal and external meetings and helps prepare presentations and agendasAssist in crafting content and analysis for monthly bulletinRequired Qualifications & Skills

Outstanding writing and research skillsInterest in strategic violence preventionSolid understanding of Microsoft Word and PowerPointSuperior organizational skillsWillingness and ability to adapt to new technologiesExcellent analytical, open-source research, problem solving and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated to work independently while balancing multiple projectsAbility to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive informationPreferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe IllustratorCritical thinking skillsKnowledge of project managementProactive approach to workEducation

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Law, Criminology, International Relations, Homeland Security or a closely related fieldBe enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:Be at least 18 years of ageNot have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or programPossess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional Information

Candidate should be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week (24 to 28 hours per week) for the duration of the internshipThis internship is a primarily on-site position -- Required to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Glendale, California area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspaceCandidates may be asked to provide a writing sample as part of the interview process
