We are seeking a Quality Lab Tech for our client, a chemical distribution and manufacturing company offering a broad range of chemical products and services. They specialize in water treatment solutions and provide technical support to optimize chemical use across various industries. Their services cater to sectors such as agriculture, automotive, construction, energy, and food and beverage.

The Quality Lab Technician will be accountable for inspecting and verifying that the product produced is made in accordance to the Customer’s specification and meets the Company’s quality expectations. Performing validation, verification of monitoring activities, product sampling, inspection, analysis and internal audits at all stages of production per governing regulations.

The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for:

Providing disposition for the receipt, inspection, and release of raw, in–process, finished products, packaging materials, and processing aids.

Issuing, reviewing, and filing batch records, labels, facility documentation, and seals for manufacturing and packaging.

Creating and issuing Certificates of Analysis for all shipments and preparing other customer-specific documentation or label requirements.

Reviewing Certificates of Analysis provided with the raw material or container and verifying against internal specifications.

Reviewing department systems to improve processes and procedures.

Maintaining all laboratory equipment.

Performing and/or facilitating third-party product testing on raw materials, in-process, and final product.

Applying all product quality and safety standards and reporting any product safety incidents to the Supervisor, Manager, or designated backup.

Performing other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.

Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred (ISO, SQF, FAMI-Q5, IPEC, etc.).

Experience with testing methodology and the ability to analyze and interpret results.

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications – Outlook, Word, Excel.

Problem-solving, troubleshooting, time management, and organization skills.

Ability to communicate well with all disciplines and levels at the facility and corporate.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
