We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Lyndhurst. You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, helping them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:Providing support in everyday activities around the homeProviding support with hygiene and personal careAssistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environmentAssisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medicationMeal assistance which may include meal preparationAssistance with transfers requiring manual handlingTo be successful in this role you will have:A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual SupportExperience as a Disability Support WorkerDrivers Licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insuranceNDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtainWhat shifts are we offering?Fridays 6.30am to 12.30pm (Permanent ongoing)Wednesdays 6.30am to 12.30pm (Occasional)At times afternoon shifts 6pm to 11pm (PC)Please note, this is a hydrotherapy session which requires you to be in the pool with the client.Additional hours can be picked up in surrounding suburbs.What we Offer:Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, work/life balance needs and availabilityPaid travel between client shifts (minimum distance applies)Employee referral bonus to the value of $300Retail perks and discounts through Flare benefitsPaid induction training when you startPaid annual training for mandatory modulesOn-the-job advice and mentoring from a field support leaderCareer pathwaysShine AwardsEmployee of the monthWe are a values-led organisation; we
