This role analyzes scenarios, provides solutions, and makes recommendations to protect the environment, customers, and employees.Primary ResponsibilitiesDetermines solutions to address new and existing threats and attacks against banking systems, customers and associatesDiscovers and creates rules and policies that maintain a good security posture while allowing necessary functionalityCreates and explores new ways to solve existing production security issuesInvestigates intrusion incidents, conducts forensic investigations, and mounts incident responsesEvaluates new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilitiesEstablishes plans and protocols to protect data and information systems against unauthorized access, modification, and/or destructionDelivers technical reports on daily activitiesAnalyzes new security technologies and program conformanceMaintains knowledge with current emerging technologies and advancements within Information SecurityTakes initiative for achieving desired resultsMay act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more security domainsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security or Information TechnologyPreferencesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or directly related fieldRelevant security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)Financial services experienceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to analyze forensic and static malwareAbility to articulate complex technical concepts or scenarios to both technical and non-technical audiencesIncident response technologies and methodologies skillsStrong foundation in networking protocols and conceptsStrong organizational, research, analytical and/or problem-solving skills to evaluate situations, make recommendations, and take effective actionStrong written communication skillsThis position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for

Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.Job Range Target:Minimum:$107,842.40 USD
