Grow your career with a growing organizationEmpower is seeking an Android Mobile Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications. You will play a crucial role in the entire Android development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment, and ongoing support.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Develop rich, interactive customer experiences for deployment on Android devices utilizing data visualizations to implement real-time financial information optimized for the mobile environment.Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop and maintain software applications ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members including Business Analysts and Subject matter/Domain experts.Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.Actively engage in knowledge sharing and mentorship with fellow team members.WHAT YOU WILL BRING:2+ years of experience working in mobile Android development.Strong proficiency in a programmatic environment with Java and/or Kotlin.Previous experience designing and deploying to Google Play.Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a focus on software development.1+ year of professional mobile development experience.Previous experience with test automation/continuous integration for Android apps.***Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.***What we offer you:Medical, dental, vision and life insurance.Retirement savings - 401(k) plan with generous company matching contributions (up to 6%).Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year.Business-casual environment that includes the option to wear jeans.Generous paid time off upon hire - including a paid time off program plus ten paid company holidays and three floating holidays each calendar year.Paid volunteer time - 16 hours per calendar year.Leave of absence programs - including paid parental leave, paid short- and long-term disability, and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA).Business Resource Groups (BRGs) - internal networks that rally around common interest, experiences and identities.Base Salary Range:

$84,000.00 - $118,575.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.
