Job Summary:
The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) is responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy or childbirth; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing, and monitoring diseases and providing general care to women.Job Duties:
Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy.Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams.Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointments.Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel.Effectively monitor patients' progress throughout treatment plans and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes.Educate patients on the importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risks of medications prescribed.Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health.Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills.Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow-up throughout patients' care.Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients.Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed.* All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB Requirements:Ability to work under pressure.Ability and willingness to treat all patients and co-workers with the utmost kindness and consideration in the most trying situations.Ability to handle multi-functions.Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious, and economic status.Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Qualifications, Education, AND Experience:Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree required.Licensed in the state of Georgia as an OB/GYN.DEA Certification required.Prior experience as an OB/GYN preferred.Ability to demonstrate excellent independent judgment, problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills in order to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, providing patient-centered leadership and direction.Must have the emotional intelligence that may include, but is not limited to, patience, sensitivity, and compassion to work with patients that may be stressed, anxious, and difficult.Ability to work as a team.Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.Must have strong computer skills.Must demonstrate detailed, effective writing/documentation and verbal skills.
