Scrum Master / Jr. Project Manager

to coordinate and coach our software development team in San Diego, CA. This position supports our Navy customer and requires a US Secret security clearance. We need a go-to person for applying scrum to produce high-quality work.ResponsibilitiesManage each project’s scope and timelineCoordinate sprints, meetings and daily stand-upsCoach team members in Agile frameworksFacilitate internal communication and effective collaborationBe the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requestsResolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occurEnsure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprintGuide development teams to higher scrum maturityHelp build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on itRequirementsExperience in a scrum master roleFamiliarity with software developmentExcellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)Excellent communication and servant leadership skillsProblem-solving and conflict-resolution abilityDegree in Computer Science, Business or similar fieldScrum master certification is a plusPreferred Qualifications:Experience with mobile solutions or apps for the Department of DefenseExperience with documenting analysis in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointFamiliarity with Microsoft Power PlatformKnowledge of general network technologies and principlesKnowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent client-facing and consulting skillsMA or MS degreeWork Environment and Mental/Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
