Full-timeJob Description:Skills & Expertise:The contractor shall provide Accountants as demonstrated with (1) an accounting degree, (2) minimum five years federal accounting experience including two years DoD accounting, (3) detailed knowledge of the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL), OMB A-136 reporting requirements, experience using the Treasury Financial Manual (TFM) and DoD Financial Management Regulations (FMR). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.Accountants must be able to compile and analyze large and complex data sets using the Microsoft Office suite and its advanced functions (example: Ability to use Microsoft Excel and the pivot table capability with large and complex datasets).Property Accountants must have experience with property reporting in the DoD and its related challenges to include knowledge and experience with applicable rules and regulations surrounding property reporting (for example: related DoD FMR and SFFAS article sections).Proprietary Accountants must have experience with the production and compilation of Federal Financial Statements and Agency Financial Reports. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.Mental Demands:

Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
