We are seeking an

SAP Solution Architect

who is

in supporting large information technology projects for one of our clients, who an Investor-Owned Utility client headquartered in New Jersey.

This position is responsible for designing and implementing IT systems architecture that meet the set business requirements for a complex, long-term program to modernize the existing SAP ERP system to S4/HANA for a regulated utility client.

Location:

This position is located in Newark, NJ. Candidate must be local and able to go in the office daily

Responsibilities:

Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with Business and IT Product Owners

Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements

Collaborate with a team of Developers, and Engineers to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs

Engage with clients in understanding their requirements, scoping, discovering and defining solutions, explaining business benefits and use cases and a roadmap to meet their goals.

Assist the business in understanding the effort, risk, and effect of making changes existing architecture

Produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements

Design workflows and assignment rules to automate manual processes

Create and maintain system-related documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, data maps, configuration worksheets, etc.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree with eight plus (8+) years of experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Strong knowledge/experience in SAP S/4 HANA and with relevant implementation/upgrade experience

Strong requirements and design documentation skills are a must

Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs

Ability to ask the right questions to define a solution

Ability to understand Methodologies (Agile, SDLC, SCRUM) and other industry business fundamentals

Knowledgeable in the design and construction architectures that enable well-integrated transaction, collaborative solutions

Strong presentation and communication skills

Ability to work in fast paced environment

Preferred Experience:

Utility experience preferred
