Job Description: SharePoint Online Migration ContractorAs a SharePoint Migration Contractor, you will join a team of SharePoint experts responsible for ensuring the successful migration of SharePoint Online (SPO) sites from one tenant to another, while supporting users and site solutions. This role will work closely with the SharePoint Migration Leads to support the migration project plans.
Working with the Migration Leads, you will be expected to manage and implement tasks and deliverables associated with the SharePoint Site migration including but not limited to:Readying a SharePoint Online Site for MigrationUsing ShareGate to migrate sites or portions of sitesConducting quality checks on the sites post migration for completenessBuilding new SPO sites and designing landing pagesConfiguring SPO Sites (including enhanced site setups)Supporting the re-creation of site permissionsCreating and maintaining documentation
In delivering this work, you will be expected to:Have strong Customer Service SkillsTroubleshoot user challenges with SPO SitesShare best practices across the teamCommunicate clearly, apply strong writing and presentation skillsWork independently and within a team structureUnderstand and support Client SharePoint services model
QualificationsProficient in SharePoint Online and ShareGateExcellent task management, customer service, and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.Proficiency in AvePoint a plus.Strong Microsoft 365 skills and ability to use JSON and PowerAutomate a plus.
