Location.Key Responsibilities:
This internship role will be with the team that’s focusing on lab control software and/or real-time embedded softwareSoftware design and codingUnit testing and integration with CI/CD toolchainsWork with software leads to define and execute core projectHelp with other development tasks as interestedYOU MUST HAVE:
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhDGraduating after December 2024Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status)WE VALUE:
Experience integrating a diverse set of components, including hardware and software, particularly in engineering laboratory environments.Experience developing software interfacing with engineering laboratory equipment, including sensors and controllers.Interest in working on compilers and associated technologies such as LLVMExperience with Docker or similar toolingFluency in PythonSoftware development skills in Linux development environmentsFamiliarity with software configuration, delivery, and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, and DockerEnthusiastic support of deployed software: debugging, profiling, responding to user feedback, etc.Experience with relational or key/value database systemsInterest in compiler tools, quantum circuits, circuit optimization, and quantum algorithmsEnthusiasm for problem solving in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsActively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement$25 - $31 an hour
