What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Solve quantitative and qualitative problems related to energy savings calculations based on Technical Reference Manuals (TRM)Track and support updates for recurring energy measure calculationsReview reports and presentations from third-party evaluatorsEngage with program teams, clients, and evaluators to discuss methodologies and program adjustmentsMaintain program databases and support the development of EM&V manuals and best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):Master's Degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Studies, or related disciplines with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in the same fields with 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience in energy efficiency, EM&V, data analysis, or similar rolesProficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills, including Macros and VBAStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize workExcellent written and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Experience with using TRMs and developing tools utilizing deemed savings methodologiesFamiliarity with standard EM&V protocols and energy savings calculation methodologiesKnowledge of systems such as lighting, motors, HVAC, and building automationCertifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP)Understanding of Demand Side Management, Energy Efficiency, and Demand Response programs
