Pharmacy Technician License (California)
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of the Kaiser Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Program requiredWorking knowledge of current drug forms, dosage strengths, generic & trade name equivalentsKnowledge of Federal & State laws / regulations regarding the provision of pharmaceutical servicesAbility to learn & operate the pharmacy computer system & other equipmentAbility to stand for long periods of time w/ frequent bending, stooping, lifting & reachingAbility to read, understand & transcribe pharmaceutical informationLift or transport items of 1 - 50 lbsConsistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, & behaviors necessary to provide superior & culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members & to customers, contracted providers, & vendorsExcellent verbal & written communication skillsMust pass entrance exam and background checkBilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required.

Notes:Required 75% travel to WLA Med Ctr, BHC, CM, ING, PV, SLA, SM & VEN Outpt Pharmacies.Must successfully pass or have passed the bilingual test (within the last 12 months), or be active in the QBS program.
