We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst supporting Aon's North America Commercial Risk Finance team. This position will work with finance partners across North America to consolidate various reporting sources and data streams to drive actionable analysis that helps business leaders make better decisions.

This will be a hybrid role out of our Chicago, IL office .

What the day will look likeWork with other FP&A team members to provide accurate and timely reporting as requested.Partner with FP&A leaders by providing presentations of consolidated data with actionable insights and trends and help formulate strategies to drive improved financial results.Perform in-depth reviews and evaluations of monthly actual financial performance against forecast and prior year via commentaries and presentations.Gather data from business teams and financial databases to create monthly and annual revenue and expense projections.Assist with the annual budgeting processes, including consolidating regional and solution line data.Collaborate with offshore finance resources and liaise with business, operations, controllership, and Centers of Excellence where necessary.Respond to internal ad-hoc requests as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to successBachelors degree in Accounting / Finance.1+ years of experience desired / FP&A experience (Forecasting, Planning and Analysis) is a plus.High proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Power BI.Experience in Workday GL and TM1 is a plus.

Pay Transparency Laws:The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 - $73,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
