Join us at UT Southwestern, where you'll be part of our talented PeopleSoft Campus Solutions team working to support the Education teams across all four UT Southwestern schools. You'll have the opportunity to explore and implement new technologies to support our business offices. In this role, you will be responsible for new and existing customization, enhancements, and interface programming for UT Southwestern business offices under guidance and support of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions team. You will troubleshoot issues, analyze current systems, program in PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL, SQR, etc., as well as test and create documentation. You will also provide PeopleTools and application upgrade support for our business offices and Campus Solutions team through detailed documentation of enhancements to software and produce custom reporting solutions to be used as part of dashboards with detailed documentation as well as technical specifications.

This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule.Experience and Education

Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or other related field and five (5) years business systems and/or project experience with exposure to systems or project development and testing, installation, and training.Preferred QualificationsExperience in analysis and testing must have the ability to lead testing efforts.5+ years Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions technical expertise.Highly skilled in PeopleSoft development utilities like Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, XML Publisher, PS Query and SQR reporting, as well as Fluid page development.Experience in test automation and load testing is a plus.Must possess good technical documentation skills (technical design, unit testing documentation).Job Duties

Provide expertise gained from previous ERP implementations and operational knowledge to lead the team members through the design, configuration and implementation of the ERP application software modules or database and/or technical components.Provide ERP software expertise and operational knowledge to help business process owners and project team members in conducting fit/gap analysis and evaluation of design and process choices to make best practice decisions.Use ERP software expertise and operational knowledge to evaluate and confirm integration and consistency of business process design across the ERP software modules.Identify customization, interface, report, and conversion requirements.Facilitate decision-making processes required to successfully execute project plans and contribute to the creation of an accurate project plan and task list.Define user authorization requirements and participate in the resolution of problems, concerns, and issues on an as-needed basis.Assist with the creation of test scenarios/scripts, coordinate testing efforts, participate in testing of designed solutions and verify/validate results of conversion efforts and testing results.Assist with the creation and delivery of end-user training and training materials.Provide initial post-implementation support to end users on the production system.Coordinate with other resources to identify, document, and resolve issues and assist with data mapping and validation.Assist with the internal and external communications regarding the business system implementation project and ongoing support. Develop and maintain project plans. Provide project status reports.Participate in 24 x 7 on-call rotation to ensure timely support of the system.Supervise lower-level staff, which may consist of Subject Matter Experts, Business Analyst Supervisors, Sr. Business Analysts, and Business Analysts; interview, hire, mentor, and counsel employees. Oversee training and determine work priorities of staff; evaluate work progress.Perform other duties as assigned.
