Unable to hire candidates who are dual citizens, Green card holders, Permanent Residents, or Visa Holders.Minimum Qualifications:3+ years of experience developing applications.C/C++ programming experience.Familiar with Linux development environment and tool chain (gcc, linker, Makefile, debugger, etc.).Network programming with BSD sockets.Some experience with version control tools (git, cvs, etc.).Understanding real-time principles and concepts.Familiarity with engineering tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.Essential Job Functions:Primary focus is on Software Development in a Real-Time Linux environment related to Linux Kernel and I/O Device software and hardware.Secondary focus is to provide technical support for software and hardware to both internal and external customers.Some understanding of I/O devices is required.Contribute to improving the technical knowledge base and effectiveness of other engineers.Interface with co-workers and staff from other departments and ensure a positive working relationship.Impart technical expertise within the department, and to customers, users’ groups.Perform such other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences.Working Conditions:Sitting for long periods.Some standing and walking required.May be required to lift or carry up to 34 pounds occasionally.Note: This job description is not intended to be all inclusive or exclusive.
