Drop-offProvides independent analysis for payroll accounts receivable. Prepares monthly reconciliation of payroll accounts receivable to Financial Information System for California (FI$CAL). Reconciles quarterly open item report with Human Resources Section (HRS). Establishes payroll accounts receivable.Initiates monthly Code 35 payroll deductions for accounts receivable. Prepares input documents to correct Code 35 errors from SCO. Prepares documents to SCO for accounts receivable overpayments.Researches accounts to locate errors and processes correcting documents.Prepares SCO journal entries to record transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts for initial document set-up, post the more difficult adjusting entries, post the report of collections to the appropriate accounts, monitor and track each open payroll accounts receivable document.Researches open salary advance items listed on the monthly Revolving Fund Open Item Report. Provides current status information to HRS and the Risk Management Section.Back-up for the following: processing credit card payments and electronic fund transfers for various accounts receivable billings; preparing the monthly reconciliation between the electronic transfer, the various accounts receivable systems, and the State Treasurer’s Office; and ensure proper recording to the appropriate income sources in the General Ledger.Reconciles General Ledger Uncleared Collections miscellaneous account to ensure that items are being cleared in a timely manner.Assists with monthly master payroll sorting, distributing and mailing.You will find additional information about the job in the
