Position OverviewThe Senior DMS Analyst will provide 3rd Line Support for the Firm’s iManage DMS as well as carrying out focused project work for business change, service improvement projects, and system integrations using API’s. The role will work in consultation with and follow the guidance of the DMS Manager. For major projects they will provide continuity of service enabling the DMS Manager with the time and space to work on strategic planning and to develop new services. Where there is capacity beyond BAU and major project work, the Senior DMS Analyst will identify opportunities for automating and improving processes as well as providing wider support to the team such as investigating complex support issues, software installation, configurations and upgrades.

Responsibilities

Understanding of the Firm and Legal Industry best practices and business requirements and ensuring governance is central to all undertakings

The ability to work both on your own without supervision and also in a team oriented, collaborative environment

Be willing to share skills and experience with other members of the team

Work with the Service Delivery Teams to ensure we are providing optimal client service delivery levels to the business for the iManage DMS and its integrations

Communicate troubleshooting steps, workarounds and resolutions by documenting them in the Service Now Knowledge base for both the Technology team and our Services Central (ServiceNow) portal for the wider business.

Take ownership of escalated issues relating to the iManage DMS and integrated systems seeing them through to resolution inclusive of Problem and Change management

Proactively monitor the performance and availability of key iManage related services/systems

Perform root cause analysis on system issues, recommend and implement solutions to resolve problems

Plan and implement updates and upgrades to the iManage DMS and its integrated systems/applications

Legal Cloud/Web based applications

Microsoft 365

Ethical Security e.g. IntApp Walls

Essential ExperienceTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

At least five (5) years of Senior DMS experience in the legal sector with a deep understanding of DMS deployment and management of Work 10

Excellent knowledge of SQL

Excellent integration development skills including REST API, PowerShell, Power BI and other development tools

Understanding of IntApp Walls and information barrier technology in general

Knowledge of Elite 3E

A proven track record of working with large teams based in multiple locations

Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for Training and end user procedures

Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions ensuring customer requirements are met and understood between all parties

Ability to be flexible and adaptable to support priorities and strategies of the firm; ability to spot value add opportunities to the firm

Willingness to work closely with suppliers and foster 3rd party relationships

Desirable ExperienceThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability which are desirable:

Litera (formerly Prosperoware) CAM

Experience of iManage and Microsoft Teams integration

Knowledge and/or experience of Microsoft 365

Knowledge and/or experience of iManage RAVN and/or Insight

Knowledge and/or experience of iManage Security Policy Manager

Experience of Cloud iManage computing/Azure

Experience of DevOps or other technical project management tools and methodologies

Knowledge of trends in technology

We also provide eligible employees flexible time off plans including paid Parental leave, Paid Time Off (PTO), and paid holidays.Pursuant to the California pay transparency laws, BCLP is posting a reasonable estimate of a compensation range for this position. At the time of posting, the estimated California, Colorado, New York, Washington D.C., and Washington range is $95,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the level of relevant experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job related factors permitted by law. The range is based on a full-time work schedule. Additional compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
