DMI, LLC is seeking a

Financial Analyst

to join us. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior CPIC/FITARA Analyst, gaining hands-on experience in Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) compliance. You will conduct financial analysis, lead process updates, policy reviews, and improvement initiatives while supporting broader IT investment management activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of CPIC and FITARA through mentorship and direct involvement in critical projects.Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in IT portfolio management activities such as investment categorization, prioritization, governance, performance assessment, and reporting.Conduct financial analysis to support the evaluation and management of IT investments, ensuring alignment with budgetary and strategic goals.Analyze cost data and investment performance metrics to inform decision-making and support the optimization of IT investments.Provide acquisition support by assisting in the development of procurement documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with acquisition policies and procedures.Lead efforts to update processes, review policies, and implement improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT capital planning and portfolio management.Provide support for IT capital planning governance meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, developing materials, and taking meeting minutes. Follow up on action items to ensure timely updates and completion.Assist in developing capacity planning and resource management strategies, tracking investments, and preparing resource utilization reports using tools like MS Project Professional and the ACIO project and portfolio management system.Support the optimization of FITARA processes, including conducting assessments, developing progress reports, and assisting with the development and maintenance of IT Investment Dashboards for FITARA compliance.Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional experience.Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:Experience in financial analysis, particularly in relation to IT investments, budgeting, and cost management.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a related field.Familiarity with federal acquisition processes and the ability to provide acquisition support.Knowledge of CPIC practices, and relevant government policies such as the Clinger Cohen Act and FITARA, with the ability to quickly gain a strong understanding through collaboration with senior analysts.Proficiency in using tools such as Google Suite, MS Office, Smartsheet, and portfolio management systems.Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with attention to detail in policy and process documentation.Ability to take initiative in leading process updates, policy reviews, and improvement projects under guidance.Experience in government contracting or supporting federal programs.Min Citizenship Status Required:
