We hope you'll visit our website and learn more about Zurn Elkay at zurnelkay.com.If you're ready to join a company where what you do makes a difference and you have pride in the work you are doing, talk to us about joining the Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation family!Responsibilities:Support project teams in the design, development, and launch of new water delivery products and components, ensuring they meet cost, schedule, and quality requirements.Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical components for various applications.Collaborate with the electronics engineering team to develop and maintain electromechanical components and wire harnesses.Prepare and maintain detailed documentation throughout the product development process, including design specifications, DFMEAs, test plans (DVPRs), and project reports.Oversee the creation and testing of prototypes, analyze test results, and iterate designs based on findings.Identify, analyze, and resolve engineering problems encountered during the development process for assigned components & systems.Support product builds throughout the development cycle.Work with manufacturing & operations team to conduct design for manufacturability & assembly assessments.Work with suppliers to resolve issues from both current production and development efforts.Complete cost assessments of various design options under consideration.Communicate project status, challenges, and milestones to stakeholders throughout the development cycle ensuring alignment and support.Skills & Experiences:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, minimum of 2 years experience in product development.Experience with engineering analysis tools: tolerance stack analysis and GD&T principles, FEA, and CFD.Basic understanding of sheetmetal fabrication & injection molded part design.Working knowledge of electrical systems, including wire harnesses and electromechanical components.Familiarity with waterway, flow control and refrigeration system design a plus.Familiarity with V&V Tools (DFMEA & DVPR).Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis Methodologies (8D, A3).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Total Rewards and Benefits:Competitive SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life InsuranceMatching 401(k) ContributionHealth Savings AccountUp to 3 Weeks Vacation12 Paid HolidaysAnnual Bonus EligibilityEducational ReimbursementMatching Gift ProgramEqual Opportunity Employer
