This position is an on-site position and will be located in Baltimore, Maryland.Position Overview:The selected Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Architect will be supporting a radar program that is targeting a series of captures by modifying the Scalable Surface Digital Radar product line to exploit both X and S-Band frequency domains. As part of the broader Scalable Surface Digital Radar team, the Argus Modeling and Simulation Architect will focus maturing the M&S capabilities and leading technical efforts for radar modeling and simulation.What You'll get to Do:Evaluate current M&S requirements and capabilitiesManage a capability roadmap with milestones supporting critical capture activitiesLead the execution of M&S related analysis process definition and analysis taskingDevelop and deploy new M&S capabilities to classified and unclassified environmentsThis is a leadership role, requiring a high level of organizational skill, professionalism, and ability to work across NG sectors to accomplish goals on a tight schedule.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 9 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 4 years of relevant experienceActive Secret Security Clearance required to startPreferred Qualifications:Deep radar background including radar modes, signal processing, and performance analysisModeling and simulation software development experienceMissile Defense and IAMD experienceWhat We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. $121,000 - $181,400The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
