We are hiring a Senior Configuration Manager to support a DoD program in San Antonio, TX. This position is onsite 100% of the time.
As the Senior Release Manager/CM, you will facilitate the process required to move system releases into production for the program. You will serve as the release management process owner, working with stakeholders to manage, plan, and schedule the system software delivery throughout all phases of the release lifecycle.
Job Duties:
Provide the services needed to help product teams manage and deploy code into production.Conduct release planning meetings and lead the project’s weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings.Identify risks to the release schedule based on feedback from functional leads and partnering organizations.Coordinate and facilitate the project’s Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and Change Control Boards (CCBs).Implement the project’s Release Roadmap, monitor release statuses, and report progress of releases.Work with team members, leads, and partnering organizations to refine release management processes.Revise and maintain the program’s Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) Release Policy.Work with development and test teams to understand impacts of branches and code merges in GitLab.Monitor, track, and approve all software code merged into each system release in GitLab.Take ownership of system software deliverables and coordinate work between different Agile teams.Lead implementation of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) methodologies in ServiceNow.Manage the release process from development, testing, and finally, to the production environment.Work closely with Agile teams from the beginning of project planning to system baseline release.Education:Minimum of 10 years experience and a MA/MS Degree is required.
