Network Operations Center Engineer (4 on/4 off)

The Red Gate Group is seeking a skilled Network Operations Center Engineer to join the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) team in Reston, VA. In this role, you will oversee real-time monitoring and maintenance of network devices, servers, mission-critical systems, and networking infrastructure across multiple sites. As a Tier III support engineer, you'll resolve technical issues, ensure optimal network performance, and collaborate across engineering disciplines.Responsibilities include:Configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux serversManaging firewalls, DNS entries, and security protocolsProviding weekend and vacation support during outagesThis role requires expertise in IT security, network administration, and system troubleshooting, with opportunities to enhance processes and maintain a strong security posture.
