Variable, 8 hour shiftsPosition SummaryThe Anesthesia Technician/Technologist is responsible for procurement, maintenance, availability of supplies and equipment pertaining to anesthesia care; assisting professional nursing staff and anesthesiologists during the intubation and extubation phases of anesthesia; assisting in preparation and placement of special invasive and non-invasive lines/procedures; and providing room turnover for anesthesia and in any other areas of the procedure or operating room, as time and skill allow.RequirementsGraduation from an accredited anesthesia technician/technologist program preferredCurrent certification as an Anesthesia Technician through the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) or, CNA, MA or EMT certification preferredOne year of experience in an Anesthesia Tech position in lieu of certification may be consideredBLS Certification requiredOur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.27 - $38.46 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
