deliver an omni-channel banking experience for our customers and their employees, with a unified user experience and real-time access to customer, account and transactional data across all banking channels.What you will be doingProvide application software development services and technical support across a suite of financial software products.Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications.Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications.Design and develop APIs using Java & Spring.Maintain, test and integrate application components.Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented.Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs.Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation.Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems.Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.Provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals.Other related duties assigned as needed.Work in Agile environment following Scrum Methodologies.What you bring:A Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.Previous work experience with Spring framework.Knowledge of RESTful API services.Experience in supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects.Knowledge of MongoDB, Apache Kafka, and Kubernetes.Working experience in Agile framework.In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.Experience in using version control systems like SVN or Bit Bucket.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.Willingness to share relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs.Interacts with product systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development.Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma.Knowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of business.In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application.Fluency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, etc.Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills.Ability to persuade and influence others on Verifies program logic by preparing test data for trial runs. Receives general supervision and is competent to work at the highest level of all technical phases of software engineering while working on own or in a team environment most of the time. May be involved in providing assistance and training to lower level software engineers. Typically requires seven or more years software engineering work experience.
