Based in Kruiningen (Zeeland), the Plant Controller leads the Controlling activities in the plant in order to enable the company to realise the defined growth path as laid down in the Finance and Plant Strategy. The Plant Controller is responsible for all areas within Controlling, such as Annual Planning, Period Closing, Rolling Forecast, Analysis and Internal Controls.In this role you will report hierarchically to the Manufacturing Controller and functionally to the Plant Manager.What do you do?Act as Business Partner for the Plant Team regarding all Controlling issues for the PlantSupport the Finance and Plant StrategyResponsible for Planning and Coordination of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Period Closing and Forecasting ProcessDrive effective and correct setup of Financial Reporting, Business Performance, Dashboards and AnalysisPerform Internal Control activities to safeguard accuracy and reliabilityResponsible for input, calculation and high accuracy of Cost PricesSupport in Project and Business Case justification and implementationDrive Financial Awareness to Improve Business Processes and PerformanceAdvise and Challenge Management on Plant P&L and Balance Sheet by providing Insights and highlighting Opportunities and RisksWhat do you bring?Bachelor level in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or equivalentAt least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a Controlling role in an international environmentFinancial understanding, problem solving, strong numeric insight & analytical skillsExperience in driving change management projects and ability to deal with ambiguity and changeAbility to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers and manage those relationshipsA self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work productively within a dynamic working environment.Knowledge of SOX is preferable, but not mandatoryFluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.We offer you a challenging job in a dynamic and growing organization in the food industry.
