Full Stack Library Applications Developer
Cornell University Library Information Technologies (CUL-IT) seeks an enthusiastic applications developer to join our Digital Lifecycle Services team and to have a substantial impact on the evolution of the Library’s custom applications and integrations. We create intuitive and inclusive web applications and user experiences that focus on library services: description, discovery and access, digital preservation, publication, and collaborative inter-institutional efforts like HathiTrust and Google Books. The successful candidate will work closely with other developers, DevOps engineers, and Library staff to realize the library’s vision within this broad landscape of services and repositories.Core responsibilities include:Develop code for library service applications and enhance complex Library applications and integrations. Test, maintain, debug/troubleshoot.Develop interfaces that integrate the functionality of library services in a web-driven user experience.Participate in project code reviews.Contribute clear and concise documentation for work.Contribute to systems architecture decision-making.Participate in library and department activities, especially continuous learning.How to apply
