NCDPI – SQL/Snowflake-Tableau Analyst – Senior
with our direct client in
Raleigh, NC .
The Senior SQL Snowflake Data Analyst/Data Visualization Analyst will provide analysis and leadership on data analysis projects across the DPI enterprise focusing on School Business Data.
The enterprise is a complex, multi-platform data environment (including some legacy Mainframe) consisting of Amazon AWS/Snowflake and Microsoft Azure, along with Tableau and Power BI. Technologies in use include Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server, Tableau and Power BI, as well as desktop-based applications such as MS Access and MS Excel.
Skills
Experience with SQL databases and related ETL/validations in Snowflake and data visualization using Tableau (and also Power BI).
Understanding of different database platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and MS Access.
Understanding of Data Warehousing and data mining.
Understanding of modeling strategies (dimensional, snowflake, relational, unstructured).
Experience designing and delivering data mapping specifications for large reporting platforms.
Writing and maintaining business rules using SQL logic.
Demonstrated experience in writing ad-hoc SQL statements.
Proven experience with ERD/Data Modelling tools (Toad or others).
Experience with data reporting tools especially Tableau (and preferably also Power BI, Viya, others).
