Designs, develops and maintains databases. Designs, implements and supports database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures.Develops and implements database security infrastructure and user access accounts. Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations. Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Monitors database performance trends to identify and correct problems.Designs, develops and maintains complex databases. Creates procedures for the design, implementation and test of database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures.Creates plans for the implementation of database security infrastructure. Consults with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations.Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Provides input on organizational standards for database monitoring thresholds. Monitors performance trends to identify and correct problems.All Required Skills/Qualifications:
MUST HAVE Min 8+ years experience a must with HPE NonStop/virtual NonStop (either or) but both great to haveMUST HAVE SQL/MX experience a mustMUST HAVE Extensive experience with database designMUST HAVE Strong understanding of relational databasesMUST HAVE Strong understanding of isolation and transaction conceptsMUST HAVE Detailed understanding of temporal databases (highly required, MUST)MUST HAVE Able to write complex queriesMUST HAVE Experience maintaining SQL/MX databases and creating them on demandMUST HAVE Experience at disk managementMUST HAVE Experience with recommending Database Management Systems (DBMS) to leadershipMUST BE willing to work within a teamBachelor in any IT technical discipline HIGH DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED. MUST HAVE ALL THE SKILLS ABOVE.Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).About US Tech Solutions:
