One of the key focus areas of the Application Engineering team is to continually test, validate, and monitor the performance of our most popular hosted applications. The Application Performance Engineer's role is working with the vital applications needed to generate automated performance tests and then curate reporting based upon the results. This position will report to the Manager of the Application Team and work alongside the rest of the group while focusing on performance testing.This is a remote work position.Responsibilities

Maintain LoginVSI and LoginPI platforms.Troubleshoot issues with existing automated tests.Create new automated tests for new releases.Create new automated tests for newly supported applications.Harvest data from automated tests into a viable format.Report out on testing and key issues.Work with partners to understand performance fluctuations and debug issues.Requirements

Advanced knowledge of:RDSWindows Server OSActive DirectoryFile System structure and Share/TFS permissionsPowerShellC#Power BISQLSysinternals Tools (Process Monitor, Process Explorer)Git RepoWiresharkFiddlerAdvanced ability to debug errors/problems.Education & Experience

At least a 2-year degree in computer science.At least 1-2 years of performance testing or software QA experience.Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.Excellent communication, time management, decision making, presentation, and organization skills.Ability and desire to learn Rightworks' processes and technologies.Knowledge of LoginVSI platform preferred but not required.Ability to be creative and think outside the box.Benefits
