Experience with a high level of guest service and ice rink upkeep are paramount.Job Specifications:Outlet: Ice RinkExpected Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.76 / hourShift type: Full Time, Weekends and HolidaysHousing: May Be AvailableSkill Level: AdvancedJob Responsibilities:Operate the zamboni to maintain the ice rinkGreet every guest with a smile and provide exceptional guest serviceAssist customers with skate admission and rentalsComplete cash and credit card sales and returns on point of saleFollow and monitor proper cash handling procedures as outlined in the bank contract and training manualComplete food and beverage sales at snack bar, including alcohol salesAbility to be self-motivated and willing to work in both fast and slow-paced environmentsAssist with staff supervisionAccurately execute opening and closing procedures, including daily financial reportsMonitor ice rink to enforce rules and safety guidelines, including acting as a skate guard if intermediate level skater or aboveUtilize the Inventory Pool Viewer to monitor sleigh ride counts and be prepared for check-insLight cleaning and basic maintenanceSnow removal on the ice rink and paths/stairs around the Adventure CenterAssist with special eventsJob Qualifications:High School Degree – requiredCollege Degree – preferredClean Driving RecordOne year previous cash handling experience - required1+ years supervisory experience – required1+ years opening and closing cash registers – preferredPrevious guest service experience – requiredMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAble to stand for long periods of timeFluent in the English language, both written and verbal – requiredSkate sharpening experience - bonusThe expected pay range is $22.00 - $23.76.
