Here is a brief summary of what one would expect to be generally responsible for in this role.User support (40%):Works in conjunction with the EIP Google Admins team to provide Google Workspace support for users within UCAR and NCAR. Collaborates and works closely with organization-wide configuration management engineering teams to develop, document, and implement solutions and tools to manage Linux systems at scale using Ansible.General Systems Administration (40%):Works with tools such as InfoBlox, Ansible, and Google Workspace Admin console to provide backend support for enterprise services including updating operating systems, installing and upgrading hardware, and managing Linux OS.Research new hardware and software products to improve EIP computing and systems administration tasks. Makes recommendations on solutions and best practices.
(10%)Creates and maintains online documentation about the computing environment that targets both users and other systems administrators.
