As an Analyst, you will build and own a vast array of financial reporting and data analysis in order to help support various finance and accounting functions. You will also partner with business leaders to develop budgets, report on spend, and drive financial awareness across the company. You’ll get opportunities to participate in high-impact areas such as capital transactions, third party negotiations, writing new policy, and ad hoc analyses, helping to drive strategy and execution as Fundbox continues to grow and scale.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship. Design, build, automate & own robust and scalable reporting for both internal and external partners.Manage reporting and accuracy of key financial data metrics used for operational decision-making, financial and capital markets reporting and analysis.Partner with team leads and executives to build multi-year forecastsOwn the department budget vs actual spend function, from reporting results to key stakeholders, to recommending spend efficienciesServe as Finance liaison to departments by working closely with them in understanding their business, supporting their initiatives, and general financial inquiriesAd hoc business reporting and analysis as neededPartner with team leads to define key metrics and build and/or automate reporting to monitor and analyze performance amongst other key metrics.You should have:
3-5 years of FP&A experience working with business partners and finance leadership developing budgets and reporting financialsStrong understanding of financial statementsStrong knowledge and understanding of Data AnalyticsExperience gathering and tracking metricsAbility to write SQL queries.Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.Advanced skills in Excel as well as PowerPoint, including ability to build dynamic financial models and presentations.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big pictureInterpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levelsKnowledge of R and Python is a plus.Diversity and Inclusion at Fundbox
