You will work on experiences and systems that focus on player retention and satisfaction. You have experience on a live service game in systems design and player investment. You have experience collaborating with user research and leveraging analytics and data to be able to make informed design decisions.What You'll Do…Analyze existing player journeys, progression and motivational models, identifying potential improvements and opportunities for tuning and new featuresImplement tuning and data changes required for optimization of player progression, across multiple systems, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data on our player types and motivationsMonitor, report and tune progression economies to ensure that player experiences are both fair and funPitch, design and prototype systems, features and content related to player progression and journeysHold and communicate the vision for your work to your collaborators in other departmentsEnsure a high quality release by bug fixing, balancing and creating a cohesive and engaging experience for new playersWork closely with the UI and UX teams to refine the look, feel and feedback delivered to players along their journeysIdeally, you also will have…4+ years professional experience as a game designer on a live service F2P game, which shipped and was live during your timeHands-on experience designing, implementing and tuning player progression and reward systems. Ideally this experience is within a competitive game or feature within a gameHands-on experience implementing features and content via a scripting language and are able to work independently on prototypingExperience on one or more titles with competitive elements.
