Requirements:We require extensive experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems in large-scale environments. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and Ansible, along with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python is essential. You should have a demonstrated background in managing virtualized or containerized systems using technologies like VMWare and Docker. A strong grasp of CI/CD processes and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is necessary, as well as a proven track record of designing and managing secure, scalable infrastructure solutions. Preferred qualifications include experience working within secure, highly regulated environments requiring DV clearance, familiarity with zero-trust principles, and excellent communication skills that enable effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your responsibilities are:In this role, you will design, develop, and manage infrastructure systems using zero-trust architectures and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and PackerIO. You will lead the full lifecycle of infrastructure components from design and implementation to deployment and support. Collaboration with stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks will be key to your success. You will administer Linux and Windows operating systems within complex, large-scale environments, ensuring optimal performance and security. Additionally, you will manage containerized and virtualized environments, leveraging technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, and OpenShift. Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies using tools like Jenkins or cloud-native alternatives will also be part of your responsibilities. As a mentor to junior engineers, you will provide guidance on best practices in infrastructure design, automation, and security.
