In this role you will complete a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard accounting techniques and principles. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. You will be required to go into the office when called upon. Other than that, you will work remotely.What You'll Be Doing:Manage general ledger, accounting closing cycle, and monthly closing entriesPrepare, process and post monthly journal entriesComplete intercompany confirmation and prepaid amortization schedulesComplete, record and balance intercompany cost transactions between entitiesComplete monthly detailed analysis of account reconciliationResearch and analyze the effects of transactions on account relationshipsLearn, develop and recommend revisions to accounting systems and procedures in conformance with GAAPPrepare monthly reporting schedules and accounts analysisAssist and analyze monthly GAAP consolidated financial statements; generate and analyze nonstandard financial reportsCreate and maintain standard operating proceduresPerform ad-hoc assignments and other responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriateWill be required to work in the office as needed when requested by management.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting requiredMinimum 2+ years of related work experienceStrong understanding of accounting concepts and principlesProficient with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelStrong attention to detail and highly analyticalStrong sense of ownershipSelf-directed, and able to work well independently and collaboratively in a teamExcellent verbal and oral communication skillsU.S. CitizenshipWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience with ERP (Enterprise resource planning) financial system is desiredMinimum Clearance Required to Start:
