Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SR International Tax Associate, specializing in US International Tax to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in US International Tax Reporting, Compliance and Planning. As a SR International Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with US International Tax Laws and Regulations, analyzing tax implications of international transactions and providing valuable insights to optimize the company's tax position.

Reporting to the Senior International Tax Manager, the SR International Tax Associate role focuses on international tax functions as follows:

Responsibilities

Prepare E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, §163(j) and foreign tax credit calculations for quarterly and annual reporting.

Prepare US international tax returns – Forms 5471, 8858, 8865 and all other relevant forms and schedules related to TCJA.

Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for international transactions to optimize the company's tax position. Ensure accurate reporting of all tax transactions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and disclosures of international tax matters in financial statements.

Provide support on transfer pricing matters, including documentation and compliance.

Support tax audits and assist with inquiries related to US international tax matters.

Assist with calculation of international tax related financial reporting items including APB 23 liability.

Analyze and interpret US international tax laws, regulations and treaties to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Participate in projects to develop solutions that will help automate, streamline, and improve tax processes.

Identify process improvements and propose ideas for streamlining processes and reporting procedures.

Establish and maintain relationships with various personnel at the Executive Office, including Accounting, Treasury, Legal and Finance along with personnel at the business unit locations.

Role Requirements:

4-7 years of experience in public or private companies.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Strong knowledge of US international tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Proficient using Microsoft Office, tax and accounting software to accomplish tasks.

Prior experience with Thomson Reuter’s suite of tax products including OneSource and Oracle’s Hyperion/HFM preferred, but not required.

Strong analytical, technology focused, interpersonal, oral/written communication and project management skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

Able to work alone and as part of a team. Expresses one’s ideas and actively participates in group discussions.

Highly organized and able to flex to support the greater team during high volume times.

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $95,000- $120,000 annually. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
