Senior ML Manager - ML Infrastructure & Modeling

We are looking for a leader with a proven track record in shipping user experiences backed by cutting-edge generative workstreams. The ideal candidate needs to be hands-on the machine learning front and is expected to set the vision and execute on ML research investments targeting user experiences for future hardware and software products. The role would entail close partnership with hardware, software, and design teams from across the company. An important part of the role would entail leading very cross-functional applied R&D lifecycles from prototyping all the way to deploying workflows in production!Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in leading teams on product-focused ML work-streams, with an emphasis on LLMsTrack record in having overseen the ML aspects of products that serve a large customer baseExperience in running efforts involving efficient distributed training and production deployment of language modelsStrong organizational skills and experience working with large cross-functional and diverse teamsPreferred Qualifications
Solid in machine learning fundamentals, software engineering principles, and development methodologiesExperience with incubation, development, and deployment of machine learning technologies into productsPay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
