Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Wireless Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to help design and build systems, work on hardware and software integration, and collaborate with an extensive team of multidisciplined engineers.What You'll Be Doing:

Programming using varied languages: C, C++, Rust, Python, JavaScriptWorking with cellular systems, generational technologies (e.g., 2G/3G/4G/5G) and standards (e.g., GSM, UMTS, CDMA2000, LTE, WiMAX, 5G NR)Perform Layer 1 wireless communications analysis to evaluate vulnerabilities.Helping test - Authoring Test Plans, Executing unit tests, Documenting results, Penetration testing.Leading a teamWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:

Ten (10) years’ experience in software/firmware design and developmentExperience with programming and scripting languagesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university. An appropriate Master's degree may be substituted for 2 of the required years of experience.This position requires the successful candidate to have and maintain an active federal security clearance, TS/SCI clearance with a poly is required.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Knowledge of cellular systemsUse of cellular networks for data connectivity (e.g., wireless sensor networks, Cellular IoT)Knowledge of secure system design and implementation (e.g., cellular transport encryption, FDE)Knowledge of cellular identity (e.g., SIM/e-SIM) architecturesEmbedded Linux distributions (e.g., OpenWRT), boot environments and utilities (e.g., U-Boot, Barebox, BusyBox), process and system manipulation (e.g., ps, nice, init, systemd), and networking/dataflow tools (e.g., nmap, netcat/socat/ncat, tcpdump).Experience with version control systems (e.g., SVN, Git).Experience with ticketing/task tracking systems (e.g., Jira).Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
