Software Engineering Senior Analyst (QA Engineer)

will serve as the QA Engineer Lead of the CRD OnePA Pharmacy Team and will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our software products by developing and executing test plans, automated test scenarios, and regression testing scenarios in order to identify defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software applicationsAutomation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverageDefect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects through the entire development lifecycle, ensuring issues are resolved before releaseCollaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand requirements, features, and implementation details and to provide feedback on usability and functionalityContinuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of the QA process, tools, and methodologiesReporting: Generate detailed reports on test outcomes and software quality metrics to stakeholdersRegression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalityPerformance Testing: Execute performance and load testing to identify potential bottlenecks and scalability issuesUser Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in coordinating and executing UAT, working with stakeholders to ensure product meets requirements and expectationsQualifications4-year College Degree is a plus in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related fieldExperience with both manual and automated testing techniquesProficiency in QA tools and test management software (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, TestRail)Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologiesFamiliarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automationExperience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) is a plusKnowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plusFamiliarity with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plusExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExperience in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferredIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About The Cigna GroupDoing something meaningful starts with a simple decision, a commitment to changing lives.
