About the Domestic Violence Program:

The primary purpose of the Domestic Violence Program (DVP) is to administer state and federal funding that creates a network of readily available community-based services aimed at responding to and reducing incidences of domestic and sexual violence in Colorado. DVP serves as a State authority on development and implementation of domestic and sexual violence policy, delivers domestic and sexual violence-related training and technical assistance to government agencies, establishes state standards that govern domestic and sexual violence advocacy services provided by community-based organizations, and promotes best practices to ensure survivors of domestic and sexual violence can enhance their safety and well-being.

About this Position:This position serves as the coordinator for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the new (DVP) Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Project. This position is instrumental in ensuring that funds are invested in anti-domestic and anti-sexual violence service providers in alignment with TANF and DVP requirements. Responsible for the development of statewide DVP TANF Project standards which includes working in coordination with the DVP Project Manager I and the Office of Economic Security (OES) Division of Economic and Workforce Support (DEWS) team in the creation of project standards, scopes of work, reporting and outcome requirements, and monitoring requirements in alignment with federal and state requirements and best practices. This position provides and coordinates training and technical assistance to support service providers in project implementation. This position ensures contractor and subrecipient compliance with federal, state and CDHS contract requirements.

Summary of Duties:DVP TANF Project Contract & Subrecipient Monitor:

This position coordinates the development contracting materials related to the DVP TANF Project-related services and monitors contractors and subrecipients participating in the project. Staff lead for the production and implementation of a statewide approach to the DVP TANF Project which includes establishing contract and reporting requirements in alignment with domestic and sexual violence intervention and prevention best practices. Ensures the statewide implementation and monitoring of the DVP TANF Project and ensures adherence to legislative directives.

DVP TANF Project Coordinator:

Coordinates the DVP TANF Project in accordance with federal, state, and CDHS requirements. This position coordinates the development of policies and procedures related to the DVP TANF Project-related services and project. This position develops and publishes specific guidance documents for contractors and subrecipients statewide related to the project.

TANF Training & Technical Assistance:

This position utilizes specialized knowledge of TANF eligibility and reporting requirements, and of the connection between domestic and sexual violence and the needs of TANF-eligible families, to support the DVP-funded service providers in achieving contract deliverables. This position creates training and provides technical assistance regarding contracts for the DVP TANF Project and TANF-eligibility requirements. This position coordinates with DVP, OES/DEWS, and contracted training and technical assistance vendors to ensure DVP-funded organizations understand TANF eligibility determinations and reporting requirements related to TANF. Provides training and technical assistance to DVP-funded service providers to ensure organizations understand and implement all TANF eligibility and reporting requirements. Coordinates additional training and technical assistance regarding TANF via OES and/or statewide coalitions.

Do not use "see resume" or "see attached" statements on your application.Minimum QualificationsExperience Only:Six (6) years of relevant experience within social services, community-based advocacy, County benefit enrollment or case management and engagement in project management duties or experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position.

OREducation and Experience:A combination of related education in social work, nonprofit management, public administration, or other related human services oriented degrees and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to six (6) years.

Preferred qualifications:

Specific education and / or experience regarding project management.Strong organization and attention to detail.Strong communication including writing and document creation.Familiarity with technology such as Microsoft 360, Google Suite, Smartsheet, and other project management tools.Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Conditions of Employment:Standard Background.
