The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative

Senior .NET Developer/with Angular & AWS

to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting-edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. Location: Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.

Deep understanding and seasoned on Web API development using Container frameworks.

Develop end-to-end design for the platform, solution delivery, and execution and code quality.

Collaborate with peer teams, technology platform owner, product manager/owner, enterprise architecture, and platform support teams to ensure delivery of production into Production.

Working on Agile projects with CI/CD.

Work collaboratively with quality assurance engineer teams, DevOps to ensure all SDLC processes are adhered to.

Assess opportunities for platform/application and process improvements.

Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.

Hands-on C#/ .Net Core development experience integrating multiple application platforms.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and application integration partners.

Application resiliency, scalability, and performance design.

Required Skills:

10+ years of proficiency in at least one language C#, .Net Core, and experience in full-stack development.

5+ years of designing, and developing utilizing common AWS services like EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, Any RDS, Streaming (Kafka), Messaging(SQS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ), Caching (Redis, Ignite, Redshift, elastic), NO-SQL and API Gateway.

10+ years of experience working with RDBMS technologies like MSSQL, Oracle, or any other.

5+ years experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Should have worked on AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, EKS (Containers, Pods, Deployments, ReplicaSet, Image), HPA, CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Cloudwatch, Secret Manager, IAM, VPC, SNS and SQS, Fargate.

Strong understanding of distributed/decoupled systems using messaging platforms.

Strong understanding and experience with any Relational/non-relational databases.

In-depth understanding of AWS’s Well-Architected Frameworks.

Possess a thorough understanding of modern work practices such as DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Agile project Delivery, Release Engineering.

Highly collaborative with experience in a hands-on technical leadership role.

Preferred Skills:

Any AWS certificate is preferred.

Experience with confluent/MSK Kafka is preferred.

Any RDS specialization is preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong executive presence.

Ability to convey technical solutions to the entire organization and experience working with senior leaders across the firm to leverage technology to drive positive business outcomes.
