We are partnering with a leading Law Firm hiring an IT Support Specialist. This is going to be a 3 months contract to hire position, 100% on site in Costa Mesa, CA.Law Firm IT Support experience is required.Responsibilities and DutiesSupporting computer hardware and software systemsSystem setups, breakdowns and office movesPerforming troubleshooting and support for level 1 and 2 issuesAssisting with managing software updates/patches/deploymentManaging Active Directory user and Exchange accountsAssisting with management of backupsConference room/war room technology supportAudio/Visual systems support for reception areas and courtroomsAssisting firm guests/clients with WiFi and printingAssisting with Zoom and other web-based video technologiesCreating and deploying images on desktops and laptopsSetting up local and networked printers/copiersSupporting on-prem VOIP phone systemSupporting iOS and Android mobile devicesProactively interacting and collaborating with CTOInteracting directly with IT vendors, MSPs and VARs for troubleshooting or projectsAssisting with technology and presentations in trialAvailable to work overtime, afterhours and on weekends when necessaryOccasional travel to Los Angeles office for support and LA location-specific projectsPerforming other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications and SkillsMinimum 2 years of general IT support experience in a corporate environmentExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot, isolate, remediate and document hardware and software issuesAttention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressure environmentExperience providing support in a Windows 10 environmentExtensive experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applicationsExperience supporting remote access technology, like Terminal Server, VPN, and/or CitrixExperience with Windows Administrative Tools - ADUC, DNS, GPO, etc.Basic familiarity managing switches, routers, and firewallsAbility to bend, stoop, and lift workstations, printers, servers, etc.Nice to HaveGraphic design skills (Photoshop or similar)Advanced skills with PowerPointMobile device management experienceSIEM and/or XDR experienceVideo editing experienceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
