Jr DevOps Engineer

Job Description:Likewize is searching for a Jr. DevOps Engineer to join our team at our global Headquarters in Southlake, TX.In this role, you will work alongside experienced DevOps engineers and developers to enhance our infrastructure, optimize deployment processes, and ensure a high level of system performance and security. We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled candidate to join our DevOps team. This position is ideal for a computer science student or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and AWS Services.We are committed to innovation, excellence, and empowering our employees to explore new horizons. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Jr. DevOps to support our engineering teams in deploying scalable and efficient solutions using the latest cloud technologies.Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist in the development and maintenance of pipelines for CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.Support the configurations and management of cloud environments in AWS, including EC2, S3, ECS and RDS.Participate in the automation of infrastructure provisioning and management with tools like AWS CloudFormation templates.Collaborate with the development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.Help document system configurations, updates, and processes.Engage in continuous learning and skills development in cloud technologies and DevOps practices.If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skills and/or experience:Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms, preferably Azure and AWS.Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.Excellent communication and teamwork.Previous experience or coursework in cloud services, system administration, or software development, preferred.Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools, preferred.Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, is a plus.What We Offer:Hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in a real-world, fast-paced environment.Mentorship from experienced DevOps professionals.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative and inclusive work culture.Our global headquarters in Southlake TX is easily accessible to both Dallas and Fort Worth and we are 5 minutes from Southlake Town Square.
