Process Chemist Intern

for our

San Jose, CA

The process chemist will support new polymer materials development and optimize the process conditions to ensure scalability and quality.In this role, you will…Work with team to develop new polymer materials synthetic route at optimum conditions.Work with team to develop and optimize individual process steps to deliver material quality specification that can be achievable at commercial scale.Characterize process variables and define boundary conditions especially on impurities formations and minimization.Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety working practices.In this role, you’ll need …Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a master’s or Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or related field with at least one quarter/semester to complete after internship.Must be available to work full time during the summer months (May – August).This position is located in our San Jose office and requires in-person attendance at the office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) from May-August 2025.Candidates with lab experience are required.Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Sound like a good fit?Great!
