DescriptionBehavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Washington to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.BHS encourages a collaborative culture with hands-on leadership. As a leading provider of behavioral health services, we are seeking skilled professionals of the highest caliber who share our commitment to providing state-of-the-art psychiatric services.Responsibilities:Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.Job Type:
Full-time or Part-time (W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor)Requirements:Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA).Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees).1 year of Geri Psych Experience.1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.Skills:Basic computer knowledge.Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).Strong interpersonal skills.Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.Fluency in Spanish is a plus!Pay:$63.00 to $88.00 per Billable Hour, W2 and Independent Contractor options available.Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
