Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Software Engineer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients, supporting their data governance and management initiatives. As part of a dynamic team, you'll be responsible for modifying existing software, designing new systems, consulting with engineering staff, and advising customers on software maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to automation efforts, particularly focusing on metadata functions, within a collaborative and diverse industry environment.Responsibilities:Modify existing software to correct errors and improve performance.Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software.Advise customers about maintenance of software systems.Benefits and Perks

Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.Proficiency in troubleshooting and system changes.Experience with Java/J2EE, Linux scripting, JDBC connections, OAuth authentications, Docker, and maintaining software in production.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or similar field required.2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
